Letter from The Principal
As we move further into Term 4, there is a growing sense of excitement as we prepare to farewell our Year 12 students and celebrate their achievements.
Our Year 12 students are continuing their External Examinations, and we wish them every success as they complete this final stage of their secondary education. We are also looking forward to two significant milestones – the Year 12 Formal and Graduation Ceremony. These occasions provide wonderful opportunities to celebrate the achievements, friendships and personal growth of our graduating students. Graduation is particularly special as we recognise the culmination of 13 years of schooling and acknowledge the families, teachers and support staff who have contributed to each student's journey. We look forward to celebrating these memorable occasions with our students and their families.
Last Friday, we recognised World Teachers' Day and Day for Daniel. World Teachers' Day provided an opportunity to acknowledge our dedicated teachers, who make a difference in the lives of young people every day. Day for Daniel reinforced the importance of child safety and empowering young people to recognise, react and report unsafe situations.
During Weeks 5 and 6, our school is undertaking the 4D Whole School Scan, providing invaluable feedback on how our teachers are embedding high-impact teaching strategies into their classroom practice. This supports our ongoing commitment to quality teaching and improved student learning outcomes.
As we approach the end of another busy school year, I thank our staff, students and families for their continued support and commitment to our school community.
Kathryn Todd
Executive Principal

Parent and Carer Access to School Grounds – Important Safety Reminder
Parents and carers are reminded that student drop-offs and pick-ups must occur on Hunter Street or Vogel Road, outside the school grounds.
Vehicle access to the school grounds is strictly limited to parents and carers attending scheduled meetings or conducting official business at the Administration Office.
We have recently observed a significant increase in the number of parents and carers entering the school grounds to drop off or collect students. This creates a serious safety risk for students and staff who are moving through the school grounds, particularly during the busy periods before and after school.
We recognise that some students may require additional support due to a permanent or temporary disability that impacts their ability to safely access the school from Hunter Street or Vogel Road. Parents and carers requiring special arrangements are asked to contact their child's Year Level Deputy Principal to discuss appropriate access arrangements.
The safety of our students, staff and visitors is our highest priority. We appreciate the cooperation of all parents and carers in following these requirements and helping us maintain a safe school environment.

Focus of the Week
As we continue working towards finishing the term strong, our weekly focuses reinforce the everyday choices that demonstrate Respect and Responsibility.
Week 6: Responsibility
“I am responsible for keeping technology away for the day.”
Week 7: Responsibility
“I am responsible for being on time, attending class and meeting deadlines.”
Families can support these weekly focuses by discussing the importance of keeping technology away during the school day, arriving on time, attending every class and staying on top of deadlines.
