Senior Schooling
Accounting plays a vital role in the business world. This subject will prepare students for future education, training and employment in the business area. This course will provide students with a basic understanding of accounting principles and applications for the real world.
The core topics include: accounting process to trial balance, end of period reports, recording and controls (including cash, accounts receivable/payable, inventories, non-current assets, e-business), reporting and decision making (including cash flows, cash budgets, ratios) and computer accounting package. Accounting is an Authority subject.
BSB20115 Certificate II in Business
This course provides students with the opportunity to achieve BSB20115 Certificate II in Business.
The qualification contains 12 units of competency and completion of all 12 units will earn a student 4 credit towards their Queensland Certificate of Education.
