Excellence in Hair and Beauty Education
The Hair and Beauty Program at The Ipswich State High School is officially endorsed by the Department of Education and Training as a Program of Excellence. This prestigious designation reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality training and industry preparation.
Students outside the school's catchment area may also be eligible for enrolment, provided they meet the program's eligibility criteria.
Award-Winning Innovation
In 2014, The Ipswich State High School proudly received the Queensland State Showcase Award for Excellence in Innovation for our Hair and Beauty Program. This recognition established us as a leading school for hair and beauty education.
Established Success
Since its launch in 2009, the program has grown from strength to strength. Our on-campus retail trading salon, located in the Trade Training Centre on Vogel Road, Brassall, provides students with invaluable hands-on experience. Under the guidance of professionals, students work on paying clientele, gaining real-world industry skills.
